Copper Mountain's authorized SALTO integrator

Every door on the mountain, under control.

Alpine Access Management designs, installs, and manages SALTO access control for Copper Mountain lodges, HOAs, and resort properties. Whether the doors are going smart for the first time or the system is already there and nobody is looking after it.

What we do

Keyless access, end to end

One specialty, handled completely — from the first walkthrough to the credential you cancel three winters from now.

Smart lock installation

Wireless SALTO electronic locks, cylinders, and wall readers fitted to the doors you already have — most openings need no new wiring.

Cloud access management

Every door on one dashboard. Grant, change, or revoke access from anywhere, whether you are in the lobby or off the mountain.

Cards, fobs, and mobile keys

Credentials on whatever suits each group — staff fobs, guest mobile keys, time-limited vendor cards — all managed together.

Real-time audit trails

A record of every door opened, by whom, and when — and someone who will actually pull it for you when an owner or the board asks.

System design

Door-by-door planning before anything is ordered, so the hardware matches the opening and the permissions match how you operate.

Ongoing support

Batteries, credential changes, added doors, and troubleshooting handled by the people who installed the system.

Why properties switch

The difference active management makes

Plenty of Copper buildings already have SALTO hardware on the doors. The hardware is rarely the problem — who is looking after it is.

Left to run itself

  • Credential requests queue up behind a hundred other priorities
  • A lost card means days of workarounds for the resident
  • No one clearly accountable when a lock stops reading
  • Firmware and software updates arrive late, if at all
  • Departing staff keep working credentials longer than they should
  • The audit data exists — getting someone to pull it is another matter

Actively managed

  • Credentials issued and cancelled the same day
  • A replacement card in hand, not next week
  • One company whose only job is your access system
  • Updates applied proactively, before they become a problem
  • Access ends the moment employment does
  • Audit trails pulled and handed over when the board asks

Who we serve

Built for how Copper actually operates

Resort properties are not office buildings. Owners, guests, staff, and vendors all need different doors at different times.

Lodges and condo buildings

Common entries, elevators, amenity rooms, and unit doors on one system, with separate permissions for owners, guests, and staff.

HOAs and property managers

Bring an existing SALTO system under active local management, or manage every door across a portfolio from a single dashboard.

Owner-managed and rental units

Issue a guest credential that works only for the dates of the stay, then expires on its own. No lockbox, no key handoff.

Seasonal staff housing

High turnover is the whole problem. Revoke a departing employee in seconds and reassign the door without touching the hardware.

Back-of-house and mechanical

Restrict boiler rooms, storage, and roof access to the specific people who should have it, with a record of who opened what.

Commercial and retail tenants

Give tenants control of their own space while the association keeps oversight of the shared entries around it.

How it works

Six steps from walkthrough to working system

No mystery about what happens after you call. This is the whole engagement.

01

Free site assessment

We walk the property with you and inventory every opening — lobby, stairwell, ski locker, mechanical room, and unit doors — plus the existing hardware on each.

02

System design

You get a door-by-door plan: which SALTO device fits each opening, how credentials are grouped, and whether SALTO KS or SVN is the right platform for your operation.

03

Written proposal

A clear scope and quote covering hardware, installation, and configuration. No surprise line items once the work starts.

04

Installation

Scheduled around your occupancy and staffing. We work in phases so no building is left without working locks overnight.

05

Configuration and training

We build out your access groups, schedules, and credentials, then train your staff on the dashboard until they can run it without us.

06

Ongoing support

Battery service, credential changes, staff turnover, added doors, and troubleshooting — handled by the same people who installed the system.

More on the platform

Why Alpine

A specialist, where you are

Based on the mountain

We work out of 760 Copper Road in Copper Mountain — not a shop two hours down I-70 that quotes a trip charge before it ever sees your door.

Specified for altitude

Cold, condensation, and heavy seasonal traffic are hard on hardware. Exterior openings get devices rated for the conditions they actually face.

Access control is all we do

We are not a general low-voltage contractor fitting locks between cabling jobs. One system, done properly.

Built around turnover

Resort properties churn staff, guests, and vendors constantly. The systems we design assume that instead of fighting it.

FAQ

Common questions

The things property managers ask us on the first call.

Do we have to replace every door at once?

No. SALTO systems are designed to be phased. Most properties start with the doors that cause the most work — main entries, staff housing, mechanical rooms — and add units later. Everything joins the same platform as it comes online.

What happens to access when the internet or power goes out?

The locks are battery powered and hold their permissions on the device, so they keep working through an outage. Changes you make in the dashboard sync back once the connection returns.

Will these hold up at 9,700 feet?

That is the reason we specify carefully. Cold, condensation, and heavy seasonal traffic all shorten hardware life, so exterior openings get devices rated for it rather than whatever is cheapest on the shelf.

Can guests use their phones instead of a card?

Yes. Credentials can live on a card, a fob, or a smartphone, and you can mix them across one property — staff on fobs, guests on mobile, vendors on time-limited cards.

How long does a credential change take?

Seconds to make, and same day to get to you. Access is granted or revoked from the dashboard — the delay most properties run into is not the software, it is waiting on whoever administers it.

Do you support systems somebody else installed?

Yes — that is most of our work. Plenty of Copper buildings already have SALTO hardware that nobody is actively administering. In most cases the existing locks stay exactly where they are; what changes is who manages them and how fast you get a response.
